Hi! I’m Edna, but pretty much everyone knows me as Ed Waldron.
I’m a Colombian Senior Art Director and Illustrator with a background in graphic design and 13 years of experience in the creative industry. I started working in advertising very early in my career, which gave me the opportunity to grow alongside great teams, global brands, and projects that shaped the way I think about ideas, design, and art direction today.
Over the years, I’ve worked across agencies and creative networks including Grey, McCann, MullenLowe, and Monks, developing everything from large-scale campaigns to visual identities, social ideas, and creative concepts. I enjoy being involved in the entire process: finding the idea, defining its visual world, and figuring out how to bring it to life.
Alongside advertising, illustration has always been my personal creative space. My work is colorful, detailed, and constantly evolving through experimentation with color, culture, and the things I observe around me.
For me, art direction and illustration aren’t two separate worlds. They constantly influence each other — and that intersection is where I feel most like myself.
