For generations, One Hundred Years of Solitude has been a source of Colombian pride. So, for the series finale, we wanted to prove something bigger: Macondo is Colombia.
We discovered that more than 20,000 Colombians have lived for over a century. We listened to their stories and found echoes of Gabo’s magical realism: endless rains, wars, lifelong love, and family traditions.
They hadn't just lived through a hundred years. They had witnessed Macondo.
Because in Colombia, reality goes beyond fiction.
